The Instrument Meteoroligical Conditions Rating
The IMC Rating is the ultimate challenge for the PPL holder, enhancing the pilot's abilities and bringing a new dimension to their flying.
The course includes 15 hours of flying where you will learn all about flight using only instruments and navigating by the use of Radio Aids. Even more importantly you will be trained to fly instrument approaches including ILS and NDB let-downs.
IMC training is carried out on our Cessna 182 aircraft which is superbly equipped with some of the very latest equipment including the Garmin GNS430.
